Preventative teeth cleanings are a cornerstone of lasting oral health. Professional cleanings are important to helping reduce the risk of tooth decay and gum disease.
Our dental hygiene team not only ensures your smile stays clean but also teaches you oral hygiene tips to maintain a healthy smile between routine checkups.
Because many diseases and conditions first show signs in your mouth, good dental health and a strong relationship with your dental office are important steps in your overall health. Teeth cleanings allow us to identify and treat issues at an early stage when they are smaller and less invasive to manage. In addition to safeguarding your smile, we assess the well-being of your gums to help prevent any unwelcome surprises down the road. Preventive dental care can help you reduce or avoid future costs by preventing and finding potential issues sooner.
Most insurance plans cover two preventative care visits a year. Staying ahead of plaque and tartar buildup contributes to improved oral health, bolstering your immune system and enhancing your smile’s brightness.
By establishing good oral habits and not skipping your twice a year cleanings, you can smile more knowing that you are helping lower the likelihood of gum disease, tooth decay, and dental emergencies.
At Orland Square Dental, we prioritize an exceptional patient experience, providing comfortable care and professional cleanings to promote healthy teeth for life. If it has been six months or longer since your last dental checkup, schedule your next visit with us today.

The best dental experience. The staff were really helpful and courteous. The hygienist took her time really cleaning my teeth. The office is very clean and smells like pumpkin. Feels like home

This was my first time here after transferring from Midwest Dental's Palos Heights office, which closed. Very friendly and caring staff. My teeth cleaning was the most "pleasant" I have ever experienced, at least I wouldn't rate it as torture like most. Dr. Correa carefully and thoroughly examined my teeth and my X-rays. Going in, I wasn't sure I would want to continue traveling the extra distance to this location, but my positive experience will encourage me to come back.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Correas’s for several years and have had excellent dental care. My last two visits were, 1) getting impressions for a new bridge and 2) to have my teeth cleaned. Dr Correas spent a lot of time making sure the impressions he was taking would result in a great fit for my new bridge. I have also worked with Alex who does a wonderful job of cleaning my teeth. I highly recommend this practice. As a matter of fact, I just recommended it recently to my husband and now he is also a patient at Orland Square Dental.

My dentist office shut down and did not notify me. So I showed up for my cleaning and check up to find out I was out of luck. The note on the door said to call Orland Square Dental. Angie answered and helped me set up a new appointment. Then she called back just a few minutes later regarding a cancellation for the same day. I took the open spot and was able to check the dentist off my to do list. I am more than happy to have found a new dentist. Everyone was kind, thorough, informative and accommodating. I saw Angie in the office and she has got to be the nicest, most helpful face of a Dr. office I know. I recommend her and this dentist office for the entire family.
